I was planning a 300km ride for Saturday. This was an Audax DIY ride, so that I could get points for it, and work towards an award for this season.

In the end, the ride was a qualified failure, of sorts.

than waste it in asking riddles that have no answers.

I think I'm a bit overdue an update. I've got programmers block at the moment (where you can't develop code because there are far more interesting things to do) so rather than distract myself by reading rubbish, I thought that I would contribute to the "world wide supply of online rubbish to read" by writing something myself.
